Research Interests on Nickelates

             We have prepared and characterized polycrystalline samples of nickelates with general formula LnNiO₃; Ln = rare-earth elements and their solid solutions.  We have focused our efforts on the understanding of the temperature driven metal-insulator transition in this series.  The research project also includes alternative routes for growing these nickelates.
